Been there 3 nights. Was very satisfied. The room was great and the breakfast was very rich. Very friendly and nice staf.

All sense overpriced. It was 78 euro by phone and at all the booking systems but charged as 88 euro at the reception. Manager didn’t comment cause he does not speak English. Rooms were very cold, but heating systems works well, and in an hour we could sleep. Breakfast was “just enough”. Not tasty, but eatable. Very bad quality of coffee from the pot.

The food is outstanding. The service is great. The rooms are not fancy but functional and very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located and is with in access to many great sight seeing trips by car. Frielendorf is one of the nicest German villages I have been to very friendly and it gives you a great feeling for central Germany. The Silber see resort is also quite close and offers many very nice things to do. I would stay at hotel Hassia again in a second.

The hotel was in a quite location. We did not get a very warm welcome. Our room was on the second floor. As we walked up a lot of steps you could smell the disgusting smell of smoke from the first floor. In the restaurant I ordered a rumpsteak nothing else except cooked medium rare with chips ( pommes frites in Germany) My steak was overcooked i.e no blood as in medium. But even worse was all I could taste was pepper! My wifes Irish coffee was disgusting. I know a Irish coffee. This was from a bottle like Baileys. The cost was only 3.20 euros ,the whisky alone would cost that ! Never try to pull the wool over an Englishman.DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
